A replication of the cosmos also know as a manifestation of the Divine based on the world or nature –
most Hindu, Pagan worship takes place out doors near water, under trees, in the mountains and on islands –
Temples are not merely places of religious congregating, there not places of preaching sermons nor confessions.
They are revered homes of deities or emanations of deities where human beings go to meditate,
pray, and offer flowers, incense and gifts to the image (Murti) of the Goddesses or Gods whose presence one feels in the Temple.
